★ ‘Music of the Hemispheres’ (Tuesday) This evening posits to be avant-garde for the thinking man: a collection of experimental works inspired by patterns found in medically examined brain activity, initially derived by the studies of the neuro-philosopher Dan Lloyd. The electronic interlude by the piano and percussion quartet Yarn/Wire and the music theorist Aaron Einbond appears most enticing; the evening also includes a short film and an artist panel.
